This was my initial game concept write-up:
Amber survived the repair of the Pattern during the war. Though it wasn't without changes. First of all, Rebma and Tir-na Nog'th no longer reside in reflections above and below. Scholars posit that when Oberon spilled his blood to repair the damage his mad son inflicted, the shadows were destroyed.
That leads to some other questions, though. Such as, why is it reported that the Pattern does not glow as brightly? The god-like elders are aging, although they also seem to have lost their infertility. This has given way to a whole new generation of godlings.
